At The Learning Tree Nursery your child’s daily adventure begins at the Learning Square, which is our drop off area. We have staggered start timings for each class group so your child is received with the care and attention he/she needs at this early stage.
The timetable is structured carefully to build a comfortable rhythm of quiet focused time for carpet conversations or table top activities, high energy outdoor play time, so essential for healthy, growing children and snack times. Free Flow activities in the indoor role play area allow our children to be guided by their interest and thus learn through sensory, exploratory experiences. Teachers always maintain the role of active participators in this setting, making observations as they go along to help them plan upcoming activities.
With a strong emphasis on the development of critical Numeracy and Literacy skills, our teachers weave a wonderful combination of creative, exploratory and interactive activities into the school day to allow our children to become constructors of true knowledge. Specially written lesson plans facilitate experience based learning. Activities trigger exploration and in depth understanding of the physical world. Children are then encouraged, both individually and in groups, to experiment with various forms of creative self expression, from painting and drawing to dramatization and role play, recording and synthesizing their thoughts and interests. Our children also enjoy exciting learning opportunities through our specialist lessons in Music, Art and Arabic.
At the Learning Tree Nursery we aim to nurture enthusiastic, inspired and emotionally intelligent learners who have a strong, positive sense of themselves and are able to build healthy and fulfilling relationships. We prepare children not only for their next step into larger schools and environments but also develop life skills that will allow them to adapt and learn in an ever-changing world with ease and confidence
